Date: August 25, 2004 6:40:48 PM CEST
A new package has been installed on tug.ctan.org and will soon make its way to your favorite mirror. Thank you for the upload, Jim Hefferon ====================================================================== The following information was provided by the package's contributor. Name of contribution: hyphenation-greek Author's name: Dimitrios Filippou Location on CTAN: language/hyphenation/elhyphen Summary description: Hyphenation patterns for ancient and modern Greek License type: lppl Announcement text given by the package's contributor: - - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This set of files contains the hyphenation patterns for typesetting Ancient and Modern Greek texts with TeX/LaTeX. The patterns are suitable for the LGR encoding ("cb" -- "babel" -- and "kd" fonts). They can be easily converted for use with the "ibycus" fonts (look for the "ibycus-babel" package in CTAN), or with Omega/Lambda (look for the "antomega" package in CTAN). For a few more details, read the "readme.txt" in this set of files. - - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can have a look at the package at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/language/hyphenation/elhyphen although you may get a better network connection by visiting a mirror of CTAN that is near to you; see http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/README.mirrors

hyphenation-greek – Hyphenation patterns for ancient and modern Greek

Contains the hyphenation patterns for ancient Greek and modern Greek in polytonic (multi-accent) and monotonic (uni-accent) systems. The hyphenation patterns will work perfectly with the babel greek option or with Dryllerakis’ GreeK. The patterns can easily be converted for use with the ibycus fonts (see the ibycus-babel package), or with Omega/Lambda (see the antomega package). For any other Greek package, the patterns will have to be re-coded.
