----------------------------- | PSTricks contributions | ----------------------------- This directory contain contributions to the core of PSTricks. Nearly all packages uses the extended version of the keyval package. So be sure, that you have installed xkeyval (/macros/latex/contrib/xkeyval/ with the special pst-xkey package. Current content is: - piechart: two shell+AWK scripts from Denis Girou. It allow to generate pie charts using some small data and parameters files. The capacities are very limited and it will be superceded in the future by the PstChart program (see http://www.tug.org/applications/PSTricks/PstChart). - pst-3dplot: plotting three dimensional data records and math functions - pst-blur: the `pst-blur' package from Martin Giese. It allow to use "blurred" shadows for various PSTricks graphic objects, as opposite to the "hard" standard shadows offered by the "shadow" parameter. - pst-circ: drawing eletrical and electronics circuits. - pst-fr3d: Three dimensional buttons and frames. - pst-func: Plotting special mathematical functions. - pst-geo: 2D and 3D projections of the earth. - pst-func: Plotting special mathematical functions. - pst-ghsb: the `pst-ghsb' package from Denis Girou. It allow to use gradients in the HSB color model. This subdirectory contain both source codes and test files. ** It is still in the distribution for compatibility reasons, but this package is considered today (September, 1998) as superceded by the `pst-slpe' from Martin Giese. Users of `pst-ghsb' are encouraged to migrate. ** - pst-gr3d: the `pst-gr3d' package from Denis Girou. It allow to draw various kinds of three dimensional grids. - pst-infixplot: Plotting math functions, which are defined in the infix notattion (in difference to the default postfix notation). - pst-lens: the `pst-lens' package from Denis Girou and Manuel Luque. It allow to simulate the effect of a lens. - pst-light3D: Three dimensional objects. - pst-math: Plotting special mathematical functions. - pst-osci: the `pst-osci' package from Manuel Luque and Christophe Jorssen. It allow to draw easily oscilloscope screen shots. This subdirectory contain both source code and documentation. - pst-poly: the `pst-poly' package from Denis Girou. It allow to draw various kinds of polygons. This subdirectory contain both source code, documentation and test files. - pst-slpe: the `pst-slpe' package from Martin Giese. Improved gradient mode (usage of fixed intermediate colors, HSV mode, "circular" gradients) - pst-uml: UML diagrams. - pst-vue3: Three dimensional views of PSTricks objects. -- Denis Girou, Sebastian Rahtz, Herert Voss (updated November 26, 2004)
