bibex­tract – Util­i­ties to ex­tract BibTeX data

A set of scripts for ex­tract­ing en­tries from .bib file, in par­tic­u­lar those cited in a par­tic­u­lar doc­u­ment.
Bibex­tract it­self ex­tracts from a list of BibTeX .bib files those bib­li­og­ra­phy en­tries that match a pair of spec­i­fied reg­u­lar ex­pres­sions, send­ing them to std­out, to­gether with all BibTeX @Pream­ble{...} and @String{...} com­mands.
Citefind from a list of BibTeX .bib files those bib­li­og­ra­phy en­tries that match a spec­i­fied list of ci­ta­tion tags, pos­si­bly pro­duced by cite­tags.
Cite­tags ex­tracts BibTeX ci­ta­tion tags from a LaTeX source file or .aux file and sends them to std­out, pos­si­bly for later in­put to citefind.
