bmp­size – Ex­tract size and res­o­lu­tion data from bitmap files

This pack­age an­a­lyzes bitmap im­ages to ex­tract size and res­o­lu­tion data. It adds this fea­ture to the graph­ics pack­age so it is no longer nec­es­sary to pro­vide a sep­a­rate bound­ing box files for bitmap im­ages. Ad­di­tion­ally the im­ple­men­ta­tion for the in­clu­sion of bitmap im­ages in some drivers of pack­age graph­icx are rewrit­ten to sup­port op­tions view­port, trim and clip. The pack­age re­quires pdfTeX ver­sion 1.30.0 or later (the rel­e­vant pdfTeX prim­i­tive op­er­ates in both DVI and PDF out­put modes).
