def­string – De­fine macros as ver­ba­tim macros

The com­mand \def­string de­fines its first ar­gu­ment (a con­trol se­quence name) as the con­tent of its sec­ond ar­gu­ment, with cat­e­gory code ‘other’, with sur­round­ing braces added.
The pack­age uses the may­be­load and re­de­fine pack­ages.
