fifinddo – Fil­ter­ing files us­ing TeX

The pack­age parses plain text or TeX files, us­ing TeX; it gen­er­alises the phi­los­o­phy be­hind doc­strip, based on TeX macro ar­gu­ment pro­cess­ing. The re­sults are not then pro­cessed, but writ­ten to an­other file (pos­si­bly for later pro­cess­ing by TeX).
The pack­age finds prac­ti­cal ap­pli­ca­tion in the au­thor's make­doc pack­age.
