ghostscript – Freely avail­able PostScript in­ter­preter

Ghostscript is a freely avail­able PostScript in­ter­preter which is avail­able for many plat­forms. It is a near-es­sen­tial com­ple­ment to a TeX in­stal­la­tion, used in many util­i­ties, in­clud­ing PostScript/PDF view­ers such as gv and GSview.
