GNU gv enables the user to view and navigate through PostScript and PDF documents on an X display by providing a user interface for the ghostscript interpreter.
Devlopment of gv was based on ghostview 1.5 (which CTAN does not hold).
This package is not available from either major free distribution, MiKTeX or TeX Live.
You can visit gv's CTAN directory to browse the source or download the material for installation.
