lookbibtex – Tools for examining BibTeX files

The bun­dle pro­vides two Perl scripts: – look­bib­tex, which searches a BibTeX database for a Perl reg­u­lar ex­pres­sion, op­tion­ally with a re­stric­tion on which field to ex­am­ine; and – bib­de­stringify, which per­forms all string sub­sti­tu­tions (i.e., things of the form @string{foo = "bar"}) in a BibTeX file.
