The mat­tens pack­age con­tains the def­i­ni­tions to type­set ma­tri­ces, vec­tors and ten­sors as used in the en­gi­neer­ing com­mu­nity for the rep­re­sen­ta­tion of com­mon vec­tors and ten­sors such as forces, ve­loc­i­ties, mo­ments of in­er­tia, etc.
