mul­ti­col­par – Put suc­ces­sive para­graphs in dif­fer­ent columns

This ar­range­ment is use­ful when dis­play­ing a trans­lated doc­u­ment as a “par­al­lel text”. The num­ber of columns to be used is con­trolled by a pa­ram­e­ter of the mul­ti­col­par en­vi­ron­ment.
