The Occam macros aim to implement, in TeX macros, what the author characterises as the equivalent of Occam's razor: to produce macro packages that do exactly what a document needs, and no more.
The main aims of the package are achieved by the macro package
Auditor.tex, which explores the macro definitions of the
file; and macros for the Mac QEDM editor to process the output of
Auditor and the original file to remove unnecessary
material (macros and related stuff).
This package is not available from either major free distribution, MiKTeX or TeX Live.
You can visit occam's CTAN directory to browse the source or download the material for installation.
