pbm­togf – Con­vert PBM im­ages to GF font files

A util­ity to con­vert a pbm (portable bitmap) file to a GF (font) and a PL (prop­erty list/met­rics) file, ef­fec­tively cre­at­ing a font from the bitmap. The font can then be used in any TeX/LaTeX file.
A sim­i­lar op­er­a­tion is un­der­taken by the pbm­topk bun­dle (which is also able to trans­late back to PBM for­mat).
