Portable MikTeX – In­struc­tions for set­ting up MikTeX on a portable de­vice

The file of­fers in­struc­tions for set­ting up a portable in­stal­la­tion of MikTeX (≥2.5), Ghostscript and GSView on ex­ter­nal stor­age de­vices such as USB sticks or mapped net­work drives. The in­struc­tions cover sys­tems run­ning Win­dows 2000, XP and 2003.
The in­struc­tions are now ob­so­lete; the user is ad­vised to use MikTeX's own portable dis­tri­bu­tion.
