setouter­hbox – Set hbox in outer hor­i­zon­tal mode

If math stuff is set in an \hbox, then TeX per­forms some op­ti­miza­tion and omits the im­plicit penal­ties \binop­penalty and \relpenalty. This pack­ages tries to put stuff into an \hbox with­out los­ing those penal­ties.
