syn­tonly – Run a doc­u­ment through LaTeX for syn­tax check­ing

The pack­age pro­vides a com­mand \syn­tax­only that sup­presses out­put from a LaTeX run. (The pur­pose, of course, is to check the syn­tax of a LaTeX file with­out the over­head of gen­er­at­ing out­put.
