tab4­tex – Pre­pro­ces­sor for LaTeX tab­u­lar en­vi­ron­ments

Tab4­tex is a SNOBOL pro­gram that trans­forms a text file with very sim­ple tag­ging into a LaTeX ta­ble us­ing the tab­u­lar en­vi­ron­ment.
The tags sup­port sev­eral kinds of align­ments, hor­i­zon­tal and ver­ti­cal bars, and some ba­sic text for­mat­ting (ital­ics, bold, small caps).
