ttf-howto – Us­ing TrueType fonts with TeX sys­tems

The doc­u­ment de­scribes how to use TrueType fonts by con­vert­ing them to Adobe Type 1 for­mat. The in­struc­tions seem to be couched in terms of use with MikTeX, but they should act as a guide for use with other sys­tems where the fonts can be made avail­able. It also de­scribes how to use au­to­mat­i­cally gen­er­ated slanted and small cap­i­tals ver­sions of the fonts.
