we­b2c – Con­ver­sion pro­grams and sup­port­ing code to com­pile TeX in C

We­b2C is the ba­sis of all TeX dis­tri­bu­tions for Unix-like sys­tems, it is not or­di­nar­ily used nowa­days by any­one other the builders of dis­tri­bu­tions such as TeX live. We­b2C is not us­able as a dis­tri­bu­tion in its own right.
It is no longer dis­tributed sep­a­rately, but rather con­si­ti­tutes a cen­tral part of the sources of the TeX live dis­tri­bu­tion.
