to get the sty, the tex and the pdf file, run the Makefile or alternative

latex pst-fill.ins
latex pst-fill.dtx
makeindex -s gind.ist pst-fill
makeindex -s gglo.ist -o pst-fill.gls pst-fill.glo
latex pst-fill.dtx
dvips pst-fill.dvi
ps2pdf pst-fill.ps


This version of pst-fill uses the extended version of the keyval 
package. So be sure that you 
- have installed xkeyval with the special pst-xkey.tex
  (CTAN: tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/xkeyval/)
- do not load another package after pst-fill, which loads
  the old keyval.sty or pst-key.tex
