I have installed an update of the rotating package (which I maintain).

Changes in v 2.15
-- A fair bit of work on the .dtx, so that the manual is more useful
-- Horizontal position of rotated floats on their page is controllable
-- Redone the code on auto-rotating of floats in two-side documents;
   I believe i've solved the problem reported on comp.text.tex recently

i have updated my version of the rotating package on ctan.  since i last
announced an install, i have
 -- reworked the way in which the package "remembers" what page it's on,
    which seems to have solved the problem about page-related rotation.
 -- mended an infelicity in the way in which captions were produced.

as always, bug reports to my address, as in the package, are welcome.

Rotating package v2.16

i've just (belatedly) installed a revised version of rotating, which
uses colour boxes where appropriate.  (this bug was reported last year,
but i thought i needed to do other work on the package and delayed
installation.  i have now given up on the other stuff.)

i have updated the catalogue repository, a bit (though the changes won't
appear on the web until some time tonight).

juergen spitzmueller found a bug in sebastian rahtz's rotating package,
which i now maintain.  i have now mended the bug (which i introduced),
and i have installed a new version of the package on ctan (note that a
file rotating.tds.zip also exists, for the convenience of those who
maintain their own systems).
