This package provides the \chemfig{<code>} command which draws the 2D
representation of a chemical molecule. The <code> describes the
drawing using an easy, flexible and intuitive syntax.

The drawing is made with the tikz package. Therefore, Chemfig works
in dvi or pdf mode.


Cette extension fournit la commande \chemfig{<code>} qui dessine la
repr\'esentation en 2D d'une mol\'ecule chimique. Le <code> d\'ecrit
le dessin selon une syntaxe simple, souple et intuitive.

Le dessin est fait avec l'extension tikz. ChemFig fonctionne donc en
mode dvi ou pdf.

chem­fig – Draw molecules with easy syn­tax

The pack­age pro­vides the com­mand \chem­fig{<code>}, which draws molecules us­ing the tikz pack­age. The <code> ar­gu­ment pro­vides in­struc­tions for the draw­ing op­er­a­tion.

While the di­a­grams pro­duced are es­sen­tially 2-di­men­sional, the pack­age sup­ports many of the con­ven­tional no­ta­tions for il­lus­trat­ing the 3-di­men­sional lay­out of a molecule.

The pack­age uses TikZ for its ac­tual draw­ing op­er­a­tions.
