Date: December 15, 2008 7:20:36 AM CET
This package has been updated at tug.ctan.org and should soon be at your favorite mirror. Thanks, Jim Hefferon Saint Michael's College .......................................................................... The following information was provided by our fellow contributor: Name of contribution: leading Author's name: Will Robertson Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/leading Summary description: Set leading with an explicit length License type: lppl Announcement text:
This package provides the \leading command to set the baselineskip explicitly. E.g., \leading{15.5pt} will use \linespread to space out the lines of text by the amount specified. v0.3 is a bug fix to get the package actually working like it's described!

leading – Define leading with a length

The package defines a command \leading, whose argument is a <length> that specifies the nominal distance between consecutive baselines of typeset text. The command replaces the rather more difficult command \linespread{<ratio>}, where the leading is specified by reference to the font size.
