fnpos – Control the position of footnotes on the page

The fn­pos pack­age con­trols the po­si­tions of foot­notes, in cir­cum­stances where the foot­note would or­di­nar­ily at­tach it­self to the bot­tom of the text (rather than the bot­tom of the page) as in the “bot­tom” op­tion of the foot­misc pack­age.
The pack­age has a clear ad­van­tage over foot­misc in its com­mands to con­trol the po­si­tion of foot­notes rel­a­tive to floats on the page.
The pack­age is part of the yafoot bun­dle of foot­note fa­cil­i­ties.
