cheq – Adobe chess font
The font itself is presented as Macintosh stuffit (both in ‘printer’ and ‘screen’ formats), and (for some reason) as a .ps file, which from the documentation sounds as if it ought to be a .pfa file. Metrics (both AFM and TeX .pl files), and a simple package for generating images of pieces, are provided.
