tt20001 is a TeX font package with CM (EC) in Type1 in T1, TS1 encoding.
It contains Type 1 fonts converted from METAFONT
fonts and covers entire EC/TC fonts. The glyph CharStrings are not optimized
for size, and there are even some minor visual distortions from the original.

tt2001 – Type 1 EC fonts generated by TeXtrace
A TeX font package offering Computer Modern (EC fonts) in Adobe
Type 1 format, using T1 and TS1 encoding. It contains Type 1
fonts converted from Metafont fonts and provides all of the EC and
TC fonts. The glyph CharStrings are not optimized for size, and
there are even some minor visual distortions from the original.
