This directory contains several UNIX utilities for converting AFM to
PL files.

aftopl - an awk script that does basic AFM to PL conversion

edsymbols & fontdimens - used by the Makefile in the TFM directory to
	make a Symbol font

mk-con - makes a condensed AFM font (ie, squeezed horizontally)
mk-obl - makes an oblique AFM font
mk-red - makes a reduced (in both x and y) AFM font
mk-sc  - makes a smallcaps AFM fonts

getmetrics - alternative way of getting AFM data...asks the printer for it!
