Description
-----------
This MetaPost package provides macros to typeset text along
a free path with the help of LaTeX, thereby preserving kerning
and allowing for 8-bit input (accented characters).


Installation
------------
To install the package put the files into the following
directories in a local textmf tree and update the file
name data base.

<localtexmftree>/doc/metapost/textpath:
 textpath.pdf
 textpath.tex
 textpathfigs.mp
 textpathfigs.tex
 
<localtexmftree>/metapost/textpath:
 textpath.mp
 
<localtexmftree>/tex/latex/textpath:
 textpathmp.sty
