I have prepared two files listing LaTeX symbols. One of them includes standard LaTeX+AMS+several packages. The other includes everything in the first+Txfonts. As Txfonts package redefine many symbols and fonts, they look different. You may download, upload and distribute freely, as long as you do not modify files. These lists are not rivals to Scott Pakin's admirable and comprehensive list of symbols, as mine include much smaller sets. Yet, they were written in Beamer class, and therefore easier to view on a computer. I tried to make the files user friendly and easy on the eyes. Just keep them at a convenient place in your computer and you won't need to search internet or browse books everytime you need an unfamiliar symbol. Emre Sermutlu

compact-symbols – Compact lists of symbols
This bundle provides lists of the symbols available in LaTeX, with
or without the AMS symbols loaded. The lists do not aim to
compete with the
Comprehensive symbols list,
rather to be simple aids, readily accessible online. (To that
end, they are coded using beamer.)
There are two lists, one with (just) the LaTeX and AMS symbols,
the other the same, but with the
TX fonts loaded.
