It includes: PatentApplicationGuide.pdf - the instructions uspatent.cls - LaTeX class file based on memoir uspatent.layout - LyX layout file that goes with uspatent.cls PatentApplication.tex - A skeleton starting document for LaTeX Drawings.tex - An example drawings file for a LaTeX patent application PatentApplication.lyx - A skeleton starting document for LyX Drawings.lyx - An example drawings file for a LyX patent application TpXDrawing.tpx - An example TpX (TikZ) drawing for drawing annotation VisioDrawing.vsd, VisioMainDrawing.vsd, VisioDrawing.pdf - Example Visio drawings Make a folder called "MyInvention" and put all of these files in it. Rename one of the skeleton application files to MyInvention.tex or .lyx depending on which you are using and begin editing these documents to produce your application. It's all in the Guide provided.
