prv – Com­pile, pre­view, and print LaTeX doc­u­ments

A Perl script that au­to­mates the pro­cess of gen­er­at­ing a LaTeX doc­u­ment. Essen­tially, it is a highly spe­cial­ized rel­a­tive of the gen­eral make util­ity. Given the source files for a doc­u­ment, the script is­sues the ap­pro­pri­ate se­quence of com­mands to gen­er­ate a .dvi, .ps or hard­copy ver­sion of the doc­u­ment. Also in­cludes prvps for PostScript pre­view­ing. Derived from La­texMk ver­sion 2.0.
The au­thor has de­clared the pack­age ob­so­lete, since pack­ages mk and vpp pro­vide the same sorts of ser­vices.
