gen­fam – Run Meta­font to pro­duce the bitmap fonts

Gen­fam is a Perl script that is called with a “de­vice spec­i­fi­ca­tion” and a font fam­ily ref­er­ence, and will run Meta­font to pro­duce the req­ui­site bitmap fonts. The font fam­ily ref­er­ence ac­tu­ally iden­ti­fies a spec­i­fi­ca­tion file; an ex­am­ple of such a file is pro­vided.
