texlog_extract extracts a TeX log file, keeping track of the
files in which errors and warnings occur and, for each file,
reports warnings, the first error (if any), and the
error‘s line number. The output comes on standard output in ASCII,
ANSI-colored ASCII or HTML.

Changes with respect to version 1.1:
- translated into Bash-4.x.
- analyzes standard input if no input file is given.

texlog_ex­tract – Ex­tract er­rors and warn­ings from TeX logs

texlog_ex­tract is a Bash script. It ex­am­ines a TeX log file, keep­ing track of the files in which er­rors and warn­ings oc­cur and, for each file, re­ports warn­ings, the first er­ror (if any), and the er­ror‘s line num­ber. The out­put may be pre­sented in ASCII, ANSI-col­ored ASCII or HTML.
