This release is adapted for fontspec 2.0 (and won't work with earlier versions). It contains numerous bugfixes, and introduces a new, simpler interface for setting up language support in gloss-*.ldf files. It also adds support for Armenian, Bengali, Occitan, Bengali, Lao, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Turkmen. See the README for a detailed list of changes.

polyglossia – An alternative to babel for XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX
This package provides a complete Babel replacement for users of LuaLaTeX and XeLaTeX; it relies on the fontspec package, version 2.0 at least.
