Date: November 25, 2006 2:47:02 PM CET
A new package has been installed at tug.ctan.org and should soon be at your favorite mirror. Thanks again, Jim Hefferon Saint Michael's College ...................................................................... The following information was provided by our fellow contributor: Name of contribution: gu Author's name: Stefan Lange Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/gu Summary description: Typeset crystallographic group-subgroup-schemes in Bärnighausen formalism License type: lppl Announcement text:
The aim of the package gu.sty is to simplify typesetting of simple crystallographic group-subgroup-schemes in the Bärnighausen formalism. It defines a new environment "stammbaum", wherein all elements of the scheme are defined. Afterwards all necessary dimensions are calculated and the scheme is drawn. Currently two steps of symmetry reduction are supported.
This package is located at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/gu . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/cgi-bin/ctanPackageInformation.py?id=gu (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear).
