A Few Notes on Book Design, aka memdesign.pdf is an extended version of what use to be the first part of the memoir users manual. As this part was not about the memoir class and might be interesting for non-memoir users it has now been split in to this stand alone document. Please note that the PDF uses commercial fonts, but the README contains instructions as to how to compile the document without these fonts.
