Name of con­tri­bu­tion: eu­roitc Author's name: R Sch­licht Lo­ca­tion on CTAN: fonts/eu­roitc Sum­mary de­scrip­tion: LaTeX in­ter­face for the ITC euro font sym­bols Li­cense type: lppl An­nounce­ment text given by the con­tri­bu­tion's au­thor: - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The `eu­roitc' pack­age pro­vides a LaTeX in­ter­face to the PostScript euro font sym­bols which are avail­able free of charge from the In­ter­na­tional Type­face Cor­po­ra­tion in 16 vari­ants (serif and sanserif, in four weights, up­right and italic). The pack­age con­sists of the TeX font met­rics, PS font map files, and a LaTeX style file. (The fonts them­selves have to be down­loaded from ITC.) Load­ing the pack­age will de­fine a new macro \euro, which type­sets the euro sym­bol, cor­re­spond­ing with the cur­rently loaded font fam­ily, shape and weight. - - ----------------------------------------------------------------------

eu­roitc – in­ter­face for the ITC euro font sym­bols

The pack­age pro­vides a in­ter­face to the Adobe Type 1 fonts con­tain­ing Euro sym­bols, that the In­ter­na­tional Type­set­ting Cor­po­ra­tion makes avail­able in 16 vari­ants (serif and sanserif, in four weights, up­right and italic).

The pack­age con­sists of the font met­rics, font map files, and a style file.

Load­ing the pack­age will de­fine a new macro \euro, which type­sets a euro sym­bol that matches the cur­rently se­lected font.
