Summary description: A XeLaTeX framework for building documents from reusable components
Announcement text:
Tired of bloated, repetitive preambles? IMPE offers a simpler, more modular way to build XeLaTeX documents. Instead of wiring layouts, fonts, and optional features together by hand in every document, IMPE brings them behind a small set of common interfaces and ready-to-use document classes. Simple documents can stay simple, while more specialized typesetting—including multilingual and script-specific work—can be added when needed. This is the first CTAN release of IMPE.

Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Erik Braun CTAN is run entirely by volunteers and supported by TeX user groups. Please join a user group or donate to one, see https://ctan.org/lugs .

Impe-framework – A XeLaTeX framework for building documents from reusable components
IMPE is a modular XeLaTeX framework designed to keep document setup simple even when the underlying typesetting is not. Layouts, fonts, and optional features can be selected through a small set of common interfaces, so ordinary documents do not need to expose the framework’s internal structure.
It provides ready-to-use classes for several document types while keeping layouts, font configurations, and features reusable and extensible. More specialized facilities, including multilingual and script-specific typesetting, can be added when needed without making the basic workflow more complicated.
