I was notified that the use of "%!PS-Adobe-x.0 EPSF-x.0" is not allowed if the setpagedevice operator is used. So if you use the configuration setting "ps setpagedevice = yes" the EPS output is simply started using "%!PS-Adobe-x.0"

This package is now distributed as part of the dktools bundle, under a new name: fig2lat.
