Date: March 24, 2008 9:40:55 PM CET
On Sun, 23 Mar 2008 Manuel Pegourie-Gonnard submitted an update to the xargs package. The package provides extended versions of \newcommand and related LaTeX commands, which allow easy and robust definition of macros with many optional arguments, using a clear and simple xkeyval-style syntax. Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/xargs Summary description: extented optional arguments handling License type: lppl Announcement text:
Two new features: 1. The usedefault key allows you, when using many consecutive optional arguments, to specify a value only for the last one if you want. 2. You can know make gobal (or even \protected) definitions easily with the addprefix key. Have fun!
