[English] First upload (early development preview, flat structure) of hyphenation patterns for Malagasy. NOT YET READY for integration into TeX distributions – provided for display and review only, at the suggestion of the CTAN team. Native-speaker feedback on the 29-word corpus is very welcome (contact: ralahadybru@yahoo.fr). [Francais] Premier dépot (version de dévéloppement, structure aplatie) de motifs de césure TeX pour le malgache. PAS ENCORE PRÊTE pour une intégration dans les distributions TeX – fournie à des fins d’affichage et de relecture uniquement, a la suggestion de l’équipe CTAN. Les retours de locuteurs natifs sur le corpus de 29 mots sont les bienvenus (contact : ralahadybru@yahoo.fr).

Hyph-malagasy – Hyphenation patterns for Malagasy (early development preview)
hyph-malagasy provides TeX hyphenation patterns (Liang’s algorithm) for Malagasy, intended for eventual integration into the hyph-utf8 mechanism of TeX Live via \uselanguage (no hard-coded \language number). Prenasalised consonant clusters (mp, mb, nk, ng, nd, ndr, nj, nts) and digraphs/trigraphs (ts, tr, dr) are treated as single phonemic units, never split by hyphenation, based on Dahl (1952), O’Neill (2015) and Rakotofiringa (1982).
THIS MATERIAL IS NOT YET READY FOR INTEGRATION INTO TeX DISTRIBUTIONS. It is uploaded to CTAN for display and review purposes only.
