New on CTAN: atsresume
atsresume is a new LaTeX class for a one-page resume whose PDF text applicant tracking systems can read. The layout is one column, with the name centered at the top, section headings in capitals over a rule, and places and dates on the right margin. Places and dates are set with glue rather than tables or columns, so each line is stored left to right; ligatures and hyphenation are off, and bullets are the U+2022 character. The example compiles to the same text with pdfLaTeX, LuaLaTeX and XeLaTeX, on US Letter and A4.

Atsresume – A one-column resume class with PDF text that applicant tracking systems can
atsresume is a LaTeX class for a one-page resume. The layout is a single column: the name centered at the top, section headings in capitals over a thin rule, and places and dates on the right margin.
The class keeps the PDF text complete and in reading order for applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other resume parsers; how well a given system fills in its fields still depends on that system. Places and dates are pushed to the margin with glue instead of a table or a second column, ligatures and hyphenation are turned off, bullets are the Unicode bullet character, and a heading never ends a page.
It works with pdfLaTeX, LuaLaTeX and XeLaTeX, on US Letter and A4, and needs only packages from TeX Live's small scheme. The text is set in TeX Gyre Pagella.
