CTAN Update: autolatex

Date: May 23, 2013 8:05:26 PM CEST
Stephane Galland submitted an update to the autolatex package. License type: gpl Announcement text:
AutoLaTeX is completely rewrite in Perl to avoid the use of GNU Make. The definitions of the figure translators are not more based on a GNU Make syntax. INI-like and Perl syntaxes were used in place. The commande line action 'makeflat' is added (to produce a TeX document more easy to upload on publishers' websites).
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/support/autolatex . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/autolatex (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf

Auto – Automate compilation of large scale projects

Auto is a set of GNU Make and Perl scripts that may be used to compile projects. Auto automates the compilation process by calling (pdf) and as they are required. It supports pdf, , dvips, epstopdf and . Auto also provides a powerfull feature for automatic generation of the figures that are included in the project: for several figure sources (xfig, dia, umbrello, png, svg, xmi...) Auto is able to generate the appropriate PDF picture. Auto also supports pstex format (from xfig and gnuplot for example) and dot format (from the Graphviz package).

The use of Auto on the command line is similar to GNU Make. Auto should be called with several targets to run.
