CTAN update: epstopdf-pkg

Date: December 1, 2019 8:39:56 PM CET
The Oberdiek Package Support Group submitted an update to the epstopdf-pkg package. Version number: 2.9 2019-11-30 License type: lppl1.3 Summary description: Call epstopdf "on the fly" Announcement text:
The configuration file epstopdf.cfg will be input if it exists even if the minimal epstopdf-base version is being used. This restores compatibility with older versions. Note that if the configuration file uses commands from packages included in the full package but not included in epstopdf-base (for example grfext) then it may be necessary to add \RequirePackage{grfext} to the configuration file.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/epstopdf-pkg More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/epstopdf-pkg CTAN is run entirely by volunteers and supported by TeX user groups Please join a user group or donate to one, see https://ctan.org/lugs
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Ina Dau

epstopdf-pkg – Call epstopdf "on the fly"

The package adds support for EPS files in the graphicx package when running under pdf. If an EPS graphic is detected, the package spawns a process to convert the EPS to PDF, using the script epstopdf. This of course requires that shell escape is enabled for the pdf run.
