Date: March 21, 2013 8:21:08 PM CET
Steven B. Segletes submitted the numberedblock package. Summary description: Routines intended to print out a block of code with a unique, sequentially indexed label. License type: pd Announcement text:
The style file numberedblock has been created for the report writer's convenience. Do you need to include various small inline blocks of code in your documents? It can be a pain to refer to them if they are not labeled. This style package allows you to include and sequentially label code-block snippets in your document, so that they can be subsequently refered to in an unambiguous fashion.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/numberedblock . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/numberedblock (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf

numberedblock – Print a block of code, with unique index number

The package has been created for the convenience of the report writer; it provides the means to number, and label, code-block snippets in your document. In this way, you can (unambiguously) refer to each snippet elsewhere in your document.
