CTAN Update: xbmks

Date: June 14, 2018 9:25:50 PM CEST
Donald P. Story submitted an update to the xbmks package. Version: 1.1 2018-06-13 License: lppl1.2 Summary description: Create a cross-document bookmark tree Announcement text:
The package defines the concept of a document bundle, which is a collection of documents that are to be built separately, but have a common bookmark tree. This package takes the bookmarks of each file in doc bundle and merges them. The merged bookmarks are listed in all the documents of the document bundle. In this way, a sort of 'table of contents' is available to all documents in the bundle. PDF Creator: no restrictions, use dvips->distiller|ps2pdf, pdflatex, lualatex, or xelatex. What's New (2018/06/13): Corrected a misspelling in the driver specification for pdfmark. Now allow the docbundle key to be empty or missing; in this case, we set docbundle=\jobname. Bookmarks are generated for that document alone, as an extra benefit, the keys colors and style are still obeyed.
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/xbmks The package’s files themselves can be inspected at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/xbmks/

xbmks – Create a cross-document bookmark tree

The package defines the concept of a document bundle, which is a collection of documents that are to be built separately, but have a common bookmark tree.

The only options are driver options, these are dvips (Acrobat Distiller or ps2pdf these can be used as the PDF creator), pdf (and Lua, which is treated the same as pdf), and XeLaTeX.

The package auto-detects pdf and XeLaTeX, and dvips is the default, so there is actually no need to pass the driver option.
