Date: September 14, 2012 7:22:01 PM CEST
On Wed, 12 Sep 2012 Ryan Kavanagh submitted an update to the lintex package. Summary description: Tidy up after a TeX run License type: gpl Announcement text:
lintex is a utility to remove files generated by a TeX run only if they are newer than the source. This version introduces the following changes since the previous CTAN version: * a configuration file to specify the extensions to keep and remove. This is in contrast to previous versions where extensions handled were hardcoded in lintex's source, and where the addition of any extension required a new release; * an option to keep final documents (e.g. files ending in .pdf, .dvi, .ps), while removing auxiliary files (e.g. files ending in .aux, .log, etc.); * a list of extensions removed by default in the documentation.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/support/lintex . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/lintex (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf

lintex – Tidy up after a run

A C program that removes auxilliary and files that are usually not needed after a run (log, aux, dvi, files), and only if their modification time is more recent than the source.
