CTAN Update: lastpage
Date: January 30, 2013 9:11:16 AM CET
Hans-Martin Münch submitted an update to the
lastpage
package.
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
The nameref package redefines \label to have five arguments instead of two, therefore \newlabel{LastPage}{{}{\thepage}{}{}{}} instead of \newlabel{LastPage}{{}{\thepage}} must be used. (Incompatibility reported at http://tex.stackexchange.com/q/95541/6865, thanks to Michał Herman!) The lastpage package is now compatible with the nameref package.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/lastpage . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/lastpage (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf

lastpage – Reference last page for Page N of M type footers
Reference the number of pages in your LaTeX document through the introduction of a new label which can be referenced like \pageref{LastPage} to give a reference to the last page of a document. It is particularly useful in the page footer that says: Page N of M.
