Installing MiK

You can choose between four different variants:

To install a basic MiK system, download and run the "Basic MiK" Installer. MiK has the ability to install missing packages automatically, i.e., this installer is suitable for computers connected to the Internet.

This is a command-line utility. You can use it to roll out MiK in your organization: https://miktex.org/howto/deploy-miktex

You use the MiK Net Installer to download all MiK packages and install a complete MiK system. See the section Installing MiK in the MiK manual, for more information.

The portable edition allows you to run MiK from a portable storage device. For more information, visit this page.

macOS High Sierra (64-bit)

To install MiK, open the disk image and drag the MiK icon onto the Applications shortcut icon.

Ubuntu 16.04, Linux Mint 18 or higher (64-bit)
