CTAN Update: animate

Date: March 23, 2007 4:54:52 PM CET
On Fri, 23 Mar 2007, Alexander Grahn submitted an update to the animate package. Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/animate Summary description: Create PDF animations from graphics files and inline graphics License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Another bug has been removed that prevented the use of animate with the Beamer document class. Unfortunately, animations do not work in Adobe Reader 8 due to user-rights restrictions that have been imposed on several important JavaScript methods by Adobe. The documentation files (README, animate.pdf) have been updated accordingly.
This package is located at http://dante.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/animate . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/info/?id=animate (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . animate – Create PDF animations from graphics files and inline graphics

The package provides an interface to create portable, JavaScript driven PDF animations from sets of graphics files or from inline graphics, such as picture environment, PSTricks or pgf/TikZ generated pictures, or just from typeset text.
